Bishop Kelly Girls - Class of '93

I spent all last Saturday in Seattle with three of my closest girlfriends from high school! We had all not been together in over 10 years!

It was a FANTASTIC day spent talking, shopping, eating and reminicing! The day (and late evening) flew by and it felt like we picked up where we left off 10 years ago.

It made me realize how much their friendships mean to me....and how we will not let another 10 years go by without meeting up again! We are already planning our reunion trip for next Spring!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Emerson!

***Beware*** VERY PIC HEAVY! :-)

Dear Emerson,

Happy 2nd Birthday! We love you so much and are so lucky to have you as our third daughter!

Your sense of adventure sure keeps us on our toes...

and we thoroughly enjoy your independent spirit! Your personality creates such a nice balance with your two older sisters. We love that you are beginning to communicate more and give squeeze hugs and kisses. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

We sure enjoyed your spending your special day with you!

All our love,
Mama and Dada
XOXO

Elleanor's birthday card to Emerson

Elleanor and Ainsley were more than willing to help open presents...

LOVED her "singing" card from Grammy and Papa

*****

What does the title mean?

Joe received a Five-Star Award at work today! (AKA - Employee of the Month at the Hospital!)

A parking pass, certificate and free day of leave!

Congrats, babe! We are so proud of you! All of your hard work and effort pay off!

We love you! XOXOXO

Let the punishment fit the crime...

Tonight at dinner, Ainsley was playing with the salt and pepper shakers. I asked her to stop, and as you can see, she did not listen.

She turned the salt shaker upside down, not realizing and/or remembering that all of the salt would come out. Joe jokingly told her that she would have to clean it up by picking up the pieces of salt and putting them back in the shaker.

She believed him and tried oh so hard to do so! We could not stop laughing!

Spring Photos

I had the girls pictures taken on Saturday since Abigail is six months and Emerson will be two this week. I like to do this a couple of times a year and it always stresses me out! I want their hair to be in place and their clothes to stay clean and neat. The girls were really well behaved and had fun...below are the pictures I ordered.

I cannot figure out (for the life of me!) how to rotate the few that are sideways. They saved normal to my computer, but everytime I upload them, they rotate. If anyone has any hints, let me know...

The Day Sarah Palin Came To Visit

Joe got new glasses last week and Ainsley wanted to try them on. He thought she looked like Sarah Palin with her hair all on top of her head, so he had her pose for a picture! :-)

Dying Easter Eggs

After a LONG day stuck inside due to the nasty weather, we decided to dye our Easter eggs tonight after dinner. Elleanor said it was the "most fun she had ever had!" and Ainsley wanted to hide them right away. A fun family activity on a Friday night!

Time Is Going Too Fast...

Abigail is six and a half months old! Time is just flying by...

She is such a good baby! She just goes with the flow...or the car, as she does a lot of running around for Elleanor and Ainsley's activities! :-)

Trying her first taste of cereal...not a fan!

She hardly ever cries and loves to be entertained by her sisters.

I think because I know she is my last child, it makes me a bit sad to think that I will never have another baby at this age or stage. I really need to take in each and every moment. So many people have told me that I will miss this time one day. It is so hard for me to realize this right now, as our house is SO busy, but I know it is true...
