It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We spent the day decorating for Christmas! This is my favorite time of the year!

Lucky for me, my girls are following suit...they couldn't wait to get home from church and pull out the Christmas boxes!

This is how they "helped" me decorate the tree with all of "their" ornaments...all put together in one spot. Joe keeps reminding OCD me that this is not just my tree, but the family tree and that it is OK to let them decorate it as well. I am trying...

Abigail is obsessed with her car that turns into a walker!

She loves to walk laps around the kitchen and family room and would frequently take a quick "milk" break at the kitchen table until she figured out how to create her own cup holder in her car!

Between making a gingerbread house and gingerbread cookies, they had their full of sugar today!

Happy "Turkey" Day from our Family to Yours!

Elleanor made this turkey for her Kindergarten school project. It was supposed to be the centerpiece for our Thanksgiving table, but due to the weather, school has been canceled the last few days, so it is sitting all by itself in her classroom! We are so sad!

How we spent our 20 hours without power or heat at the beginning of this week...we are thankful for electricity this Thanksgiving! :-)
