It is SO, SO nice to have him here. Not only are the girls enjoying spending time with him, but I am also enjoying the company. Things are not so quiet, however, as I am keeping him busy with carpooling, yard maintenance and spruce up, garage cleaning, baby-sitting and home maintenance. Quite a long list of chores we are working on together each day, while I am also trying to catch up on doctor and dentist appointments.
Hopefully we will take some time to play this weekend. It is supposed to be very hot here, so I am sure the pool will be on our agenda...as well as a certain someone's (almost) 3-year old birthday celebration.
Joe has had a few insanely busy days operating on soldiers from Afghanistan and from the recent attacks in Libya. It really hits home for me about the work he is doing.

Emerson had a dermatology appointment today and they let her change into a patient gown...she felt so grown up!
The girls had gymnastics again today and Abigail's class was led over to the big kid section to practice on the bungees. She looked so cute and scared to death! Her sisters were so jealous as they have been eyeing this since day one!
